my story
I've quit people pleasing , and you can too.
I’ve spent much of my life always feeling like I was in trouble.
This resulted in people pleasing at it’s finest!
I followed the path that others thought was what I should do:
- dress, speak, present myself the way they liked
- ate what they liked
- convinced myself that I was passionate about what they were
- climbed the corporate ladder because they said I should
- hustled all the time because they said that was the way
- dated or didn’t if they approved of my choices in a partner
- lived in certain areas because they said they were the best
My focus was always around what I believed would make them happy, comfortable, and most importantly “like” me. So I wouldn’t be ‘in trouble’. My world was very gray!
And then... I found a little bit of ‘me’. Look out world... I’m adding color. I’ve become an expert at helping others figure out what THEY want! Having the relationships, careers, businesses, lives that light them up. People pleasing is a hard nut to crack; if it was easy... we would have all done it already. But I know the way. Come along. I got you!
